working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Omaha,
Nebraska, 68105! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in a
large, urban hospital License: RN License required Certifications:
BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: 2 years of prior experience
required. Experience with drips required on all floors. EPIC
charting experience required. First timers not accepted unless they
have 2 years of experience at a Level 1 Academic Medical Center.
Description: The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced
specialty unit. It provides expertise in delivering care to
cardiovascular patients. Staff cares for high acuity specialty
patients. Patient population includes stable heart and lung
transplants, ventricular assist devices, and ECMO patients.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2-3 during the day and 1:2-3 at
night. Travelers may be required to float frequently to meet
staffing needs. Floating may include higher ratios for lower acute
patients. A 100% nicotine-free facility. Weekends require 4 weekend
shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday requirement
includes working 2 out of 3 major holidays. RTO must be submitted
with application and is subject to approval. Compliance
requirements include submission of necessary documents prior to
start. Laboratory tests are required within 48-72 hours of
