Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Dosimetrist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Dosimetrist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Radius Rule: 50 miles *Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract Radiation Therapist (Medical Dosimetrist) with Dosimetry training and certification. BLS is required. This will be 40 hour per week for 13 week contract. Department: Dosimetrist (Dosimetry - Radiation Oncology) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) NA Certs/MCDB (Medical Dosimetrist Certification) required? CMD What areas will they cover Rad Therapy- Dosimetry. External Beam Planning only Experience or 'Must have' skills Eclipse/ Aria Types of Treatments: External beam (EBRT) & internal (IRT), Proton Therapy; Brachytherapy; 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRT,VMAT Permanent implants, Internal Treatments, Microwave, Gamma knife, TomoTherapy, etc. Eclipse External Beam. 3D, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT. Type of Record & Verify Systems Aria EMR or specific types of equipment or software programs Epic hospital EMR. PACS, MIM, Radformation Job Duties (Developing Radiation Treatment Plans, Supervising Radiation Therapists, Perform QA, etc.) External Beam planning only. Shifts & Scheduling 8-4:30 Weekend Requirement: none Holiday Requirement none Call requirement & response time 1 hours.
