Job Description Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a CT Technologist for a job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Position Summary: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for completing specialized CT procedures in accordance with organizational policies and established professional standards of care. This position is accountable for the quality of the examinations completing utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment and critical thinking skills necessary to obtain accurate diagnostic images. What’s in it for you: - Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package - Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus - Up to $10,000 tuition reimbursement - Shift differentials for Night Shift - Free parking for all employees - Professional development and growth opportunities Education & Experience Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist, or; - Successful completion of a CT Externship through an approved CT school, or; - Board certified as a Radiologic Technologist, (ARRT) required. - Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program. - ARRT-R certification - ARRT- CT certification - State of NE Medical Radiographer license Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. - Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors. - Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. - Maintains professional and technical knowledge with continuing education. - Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
