Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Cozad, Nebraska. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN
- Duration: 52 weeks - 30 hours per week - Shift: 6 hours, days,
nights, flexible - Employment Type: Local Contract Now Hiring: PRN
RN/LPN – Nights & Weekends Location: Cozad, NE Status: Per Diem Pay
Range: $27.94 – $46.56/hr ? Additional Perks: Low patient ratios,
competitive pay, shift differentials, and sign-on bonus available!
About the Role We are seeking dedicated PRN RN/LPNs for night and
weekend shifts in a hospital setting. This role involves providing
high-quality patient care across multiple units while maintaining a
professional and patient-centered environment. Education &
Experience - Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an
accredited institution (for RN) - Practical Nursing program
completion (for LPN) - One year of rural healthcare experience
preferred - Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience preferred
Licensure & Certifications - Current RN or LPN license in the State
of Nebraska - BLS (CPR) required - ACLS preferred (RN) - TNCC
required within two years of hire (RN) - PALS & NRP certifications
required (RN) - Valid Driver’s License Key Responsibilities -
Perform patient assessments and deliver safe, effective nursing
care - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to
coordinate patient treatment plans - Administer medications and
treatments according to physician orders and policy - Respond
promptly to emergency situations and provide immediate
interventions - Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes
