Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technology Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM, rotating every 5th weekend, on call 1 night a week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: General X-ray and OR experience Description: Department is focused on General X-Ray. Certification requirements include BLS and ARRT. Clienttion badge will be provided. There are 3 X-ray rooms, 2 portables, 3 C-Arms, and 1 mini-C. Responsibilities include floating and covering areas such as inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room. Common types of imaging and studies performed include adults and pediatrics, GI Fluoro, and Dexa. Familiarity with the EMR system EPIC and PACS system McKesson is necessary. Department-specific equipment is Siemens. A Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech is available on each shift. Shifts may vary including 8, 9, 10, and 12-hour shifts with cyclic scheduling. Weekend and holiday requirements are included. Call or standby requirements may apply. Response time for call is required. Orientation consists of one week of training. RTO needs to be provided upfront as additional requests will not be approved. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during the assignment. This is a Trauma Level 3 care setting in acute division.
