Pay Information $2,290 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive
Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to critically think through
complex situations Description: This position is for a Registered
Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The department focuses on
a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be highly motivated and
ready to learn. The unit cares for a diverse population with
varying medical conditions. Common patient diagnoses include
sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, and respiratory failure. Nurses are
expected to manage various treatments and procedures. RNs will
titrate drips and monitor patients closely. Nurses will be
responsible for reading and interpreting telemetry strips. Charge
nurses are available on each shift. Patient care techs assist with
a 1:10 ratio in providing patient care. The unit employs an eICU
remote monitoring system. Bedside shift reporting and intentional
hourly rounding are practiced. Floating to other areas may be
required based on abilities. Weekend and holiday requirements are
necessary as needed. Candidates should embrace cultural diversity
and provide high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess
