Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our Home Care team in Lincoln, NE.The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) provides direct client care services primarily delivered on an hourly basis in the clients home or alternative setting for home by utilizing the nursing process and clinical knowledge to ensure high quality care.This is a position with benefits that is eligible for a $3,000 retention bonus!Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift; full-time hours considered upon request.Our goal at Hillcrest is to enhance the lives of aging adults.We are committed to providing a career that lets you thrive and grow.What does Hillcrest have to offer? Delivers high quality nursing care including proficiency with direct skills such as head-to-toe assessments, wound care, IV, catheter management, disease process education, medication management, etc. Performs necessary documentation in the EMR according to agency policy including assessments, routine visits, discharge planning and ongoing physician orders. Collaborates effectively with the case manager by delivering the right visit/intervention at the right time. Contributes to plan of care review and updates as often as the severity of the clients condition requires, but at least every 60 days.What do I need to be considered? STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful). At least one year experience as a nurse in a home care setting within the last 5 years preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact-state as an LPN.
