Job Description:

A Med/Surg RN performs a variety of duties from entry to discharge with a patient. Medical Surgical Registered Nurses work directly with patients and also may assist a doctor with procedures. A Medical Surgical Nurse can handle the duties of a charge nurse when needed.Responsibilities:As a Medical Surgical Nurse your duties include:

Performing patient admissions and assessments.
Giving necessary medications.
Logging patient care regarding procedures and the results of their tests.
Implementing physicians orders.
Review labs and other test results.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
