This is a part-time position that is initially eligible for benefits. Deliver licensed practical nursing (LPN) care within the LPN scope of practice, as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, for cognitively and physically disabled residents, chemical dependency, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote the well-being, health, and safety of residents in a person centered, room and care environment. Minimum Qualifications Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse with no restrictions Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and take clear notes Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Preferred Qualifications Training in or experience with chemical dependency, mental health, and co-occurring disorders Experience working with Veterans Experience working with vulnerable adults and maintaining confidentiality Computer experience sufficient to complete electronic charting and use basic computer functions such as email Additional Requirements This position requires successful completion of the following: A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check will be conducted on all finalists for this position. Finalists must pass the DHS background check. A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment. Employment reference checks will be conducted on all finalists.
