7A - 5P, Days/Varies, PRN
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE Provides comprehensive occupational health
assessment and services to area businesses and industries in the
community. Assisting area businesses to maintain healthy and
productive workforce, by providing exceptional quality services and
customer services to clients of OHS.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize nursing skills to assess
the health of workers who are referred to OHS by their
Performs testing procedures and initiates appropriate interventions
Assesses and recognizes symptoms of acute illness and refers for
Assesses physical and emotional needs of employees and intervenes
Serves as a liaison between employees, employers and the medical
Documents all information related to injuries and assists in the
processing of Workers' Compensation claims.
Enters data related to services provided. Follows OHS procedures
for assisting in the billing of clients for services provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Required EducationBSN or BSN must be
obtained within 5 years of hire Required Licensure and
Certifications Must hold a valid RN compact multistate license or
single state license to practice in Nebraska or Iowa depending on
work state Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1 yr RN
PREFERRED Qualifications BSN or MSN; Minimum of one (1) year
clinical experience as a registered nurse in a Occupational Health
Clinic, Emergency Room, Urgent Care clinic, or General Medical
