    • Hire, discipline, and terminate personnel with the involvement of the District Manager and HR Department.
    • Maintain a labor level consistent with the hours budgeted and post schedules timely.
    • Oversee expenses and profits, maintaining budget goals by understanding monthly budgets and P&L statements.
    • Ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
    • Be proficient in opening and closing shifts, including paperwork completion.
    • Meet customer needs and implement company customer service policies.
    • Supervise cash control and bank deposits.
    • Manage all aspects of food operations, handling, storage, and compliance with food safety regulations.
    • Project a positive attitude.
    • Handle customer, personnel, or mechanical problems effectively.
    • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and appearance standards are met.
    • Order, stock, and price items correctly.
    • Implement and follow training procedures and ensure staff are thoroughly trained.
    • Train all associates in food handling and company procedures, including proper hold times and code dating.
    • Ensure proper storage, coding, and temperature control of food products.
    • Ensure shift coverage and performance/wage reviews are completed timely.
    • Maintain personnel appearance standards.
    • Enforce company policies and procedures.
    • Report maintenance, customer, and personnel issues regularly.
    • Keep necessary records and maintain a safe, healthy workplace.
    • Hold regular personnel meetings.
    • Attend management and training meetings as required.
    • Provide friendly and competent customer service.
    • Report for scheduled work punctually.
    • Proficiently operate all store functions, including opening, closing, and ordering, especially in stores with multiple units.Additional Duties
      • Assist with other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities
        • Directly supervise employees at the location.QualificationsEducation/Experience (including certifications/licenses):
          • 1-3 years' experience as an Assistant Manager required.
          • 1-3 years' experience as a 1st Assistant Manager preferred.
          • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
          • Food Handler's permit or Serve Safe Certification required where law or policy mandates.Minimum Qualifications:
            • Knowledge of store equipment operations and maintenance.
            • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
            • Work at least one weekend per month and one late shift per week.
            • Minimum 50 hours per week.
            • Reliable transportation and phone.
            • Valid driver's license and insurable to drive.
            • Consistent attendance.
            • Ability to communicate in English.
            • Willing to deliver courteous, prompt customer service.
            • Cooperative team player.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands are representative of those needed to perform the job successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
              • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs., stand long periods, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear; sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed.
