Position Summary Lead, manage, and support manufacturing functions related to Lincoln Operations Monoclonal Antibodies (mAbs) Manufacturing. Oversee the production of monoclonal antibodies to ensure they are therapeutic, safe, pure, and of high quality. Collaborate with international Zoetis sites to build a best-in-class mAbs manufacturing capability. Hours: 1st shift. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct manufacturing resources to produce mAbs according to GMS requirements and budgets.
  • Develop long-range manufacturing plans, policies, and procedures aligned with strategic goals.
  • Set operational objectives with managers and ensure clarity across teams.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with APHIS, European cGMP, US FDA cGMP, Zoetis Quality System Policies, and SOPs.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the division. Develop and train personnel to enhance effectiveness, morale, and teamwork.
  • Implement new manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, or supply.
  • Oversee pilot scale-up and feasibility efforts for new products and processes.
  • Coordinate with Global Manufacturing Technology and Quality Operations for product transfers.
  • Maintain a safe, environmentally compliant facility with trained colleagues.
  • Propose strategic initiatives for high performance, including succession planning and colleague development. Resources Managed Financial Accountability
    • Expense Budget: $12MM Supervision:
      • Supervise 65+ colleagues in a multi-discipline, 24/7 operation.
      • Directly supervise 5-8 colleagues. Education & Experience: B.S./B.A. in Life Sciences or Engineering. Minimum of 10 years' experience, including 5 years leading large manufacturing or quality organizations, with proven ability to develop operational plans, resolve technical issues, and manage budgets. Experience in biological/pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's in Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, or related fields. At least three years leading biological manufacturing, including aseptic processes. Experience with mAbs is a plus. Technical Skills & Competencies: Leadership, innovation, strategic execution, change management, complex issue analysis, and strong communication skills. Ability to motivate diverse teams and interact with senior management and regulatory bodies. Preferred Skills: Experience managing large multi-shift operations and applying LEAN and Six Sigma tools. Physical Position Requirements:
        • Sitting, standing, walking, occasional overtime/weekend work.
        • Proper gowning and PPE in manufacturing areas.
        • Work environment involves > 50% stationary work with periodic movement.
        • Travel and > 40 hours/week work possible, including weekends and holidays.
