Public Health Solutions (IGP) is a full-service CRO specializing in
preclinical through phase IV support of clinical research and
clinical trial services for biologics, drugs, and devices. We help

response efforts to global health crises.The Director, Project
Management provides leadership and strategic business support to
the business unit and management teams in support of overall
corporate objectives. Provides functional leadership to direct
reports including hiring, training, staff assignments, performance
management, professional development and
coaching.Responsibilities:Duties include, but not limited to:

- Read, ensure understanding and adhere to all assigned ICON GPHS
SOPs and working procedures.
- Reviews utilization reports and collaborates with delivery
owners to ensures appropriate employee resources are available to
meet project objectives.
- Trains team members to ensure optimal performance and
compliance with company systems and processes.
- Supports deployment of functional area related strategy and
initiatives.
- Maintains effective team by recruiting, selecting, orienting,
training, and coaching employees; ensures a safe, secure, and
compliant work environment; provides employees with professional
development and growth opportunities.
- Achieves staff results by communicating job expectations;
planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching,
counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating,
and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity
standards.
- Leads continuous improvement and change
- Proactively identifies potential project risks, blockages and
issues and works to mitigate them through direct action or
providing guidance to others.
- Manages regular meetings with stakeholders to review and
discuss risks, status and opportunities for awarded projects to
improve delivery, profitability, quality and/or client
satisfaction.
- Manages the development of new services and tools to enhance
operational performance and strategic selling capabilities.
- Develop hiring targets, approve staff hires and achieve hiring
objectives by forecasting needs based on company backlog
reports.Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing,
information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including 7 years of formal
people management experience or equivalent combination of
education, training, and relevant experience and competencies may
be considered in place of minimum
- Advanced knowledge of company people management policies and
procedures, including hiring, performance management, people
development, strategic thinking and influencing
- Advanced knowledge of company financial systems in relation to
project budget/contract
- Strong leadership skills including coaching, interviewing and
providing feedback and recognition
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and enhance individual performance
- Ability to actively support with planning of departmental
vision and evolution
- Problem Solving - Issues are nonrecurring and novel. Issue
definition requires input from multiple sources, both internal and
external. Requires creative thinking and critical judgment to
create new solutions and concepts. Solutions often require using
resources outside the organization for data, advice, etc. May
develop entirely new ways of conducting operations.
- Adapts style and uses persuasion in delivering messages.
Develops recommendations to sell ideas or services. Frequently
advises others on complex matters.
- Translates vision into strategic objectives. Defines the future
course of action for the functional area. Impact is on medium to
