Manager to join our team.Job SummaryThe Project Manager role is
responsible for project time, scope and money using traditional
project management skills. The Project Manager is ultimately
responsible for independently planning, leading, and supporting
projects from inception to closure and acting as the main point of
contact for the overall project including on-time delivery and
customer satisfaction. This role will be able to carry out its
functions in accordance with Cyclonaire's Core Values.The Project
Manager is responsible for coordination and management of project
deliverables and leveraging a multi-disciplined team in all project
phases while understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals
and using Cyclonaire engineered solutions to protect and promote
the interests of Cyclonaire. The Project Manager is responsible for
the success of projects and will lead individual projects from the
detailed design, manufacturing, shipping, and
installation/commissioning processes through full project closure.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing a project from
conception to functioning solution. The Project Manager prepares
and manages detailed time-based plans, including resource alignment
and risk management to ensure high-quality customer solutions are
delivered per prescribed requirements. The Project Manager, along
with the project team, will identify and solve mechanical,
electrical, and process issues for the customer during every phase
of the project, while managing project cost goals, milestone dates,
and customer awareness. The Project Manager facilitates
communication amongst project stakeholders to ensure project
deliverables are completed on time and within budget, including
customer-specified milestones and metrics. The Project Manager
maintains a portfolio of multiple projects. This position requires
a broad set of skills, organization, and discipline to ensure
success. Essential Functions1. Communicate clearly to the customer
and Cyclonaire team members what the plan and objectives of the
project are (Time, Scope, and Money). 2. Be a voice of the customer
to the Cyclonaire Team.3. Profitably manage the transformation
process of the sales concept into a robust, customer-centric
solution. 4. Problem solve issues throughout the Project lifecycle
while meeting Cyclonaire and customer design requirements. 5.
Schedule and lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate with
other entities to ensure project goals are known.6. Manage project
workflow to ensure project deadlines are met.7. Ensure the project
stays within budget and provide financial analysis for each
project. 8. Requisition and track materials to ensure availability
at the time of manufacture.9. Manage the drawing approval process
to ensure all project drawings are presented to the customer on
time and are approved by the customer on time.10. Manage project
schedule to ensure timely drawing completion, material sourcing,
fabrication scheduling, test scheduling, shipment,
installation/commissioning, and full project closure.11. Coordinate
with Project Engineers throughout the design process to ensure
proper equipment functionality while adhering to acceptable design
standards and customer specifications. 12. Ensure the design will
be adequate to solve the customer's problem. 13. Demonstrated
ability to use mechanical drafting software such as AutoCAD and
SolidWorks to validate and solve critical problems is preferred.
14. With assistance from the Project Engineer, verify equipment
functionality as required by the project contract and customer. 15.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure a common
understanding of Automation and instrumentation needs.16. Ensure
that process control/sequencing requirements are clearly identified
and implemented. 17. Support the revision of Sequence of Events
documentation and Theory of Operation documentation.18. Coordinate
shipping requirements internally and externally.19. Coordinate
final acceptance and closure of the project.20. Track and
proactively manage change control throughout the project lifecycle
using internal and external change control processes. Develop
schedules and budgets for proposed project changes (both work
variance notifications and requests for modifications). Negotiate
changes with client and communicate time, scope, and money impact
to the project. Track actual costs for variance against budgets.
21. Work with customer and 3rd party entities as necessary to
support the project. 22. Ensure all Project Specifications are
identified and implemented by Cyclonaire---special tagging,
documentation, etc.23. Write user manuals and documentation for
custom projects (as required).24. Travel to the site of
installation to facilitate customer meetings, obtain data required
to ensure the project is successful, oversee contractors, and
ensure the solution being provided will meet customer needs and
published specifications. 25. Other duties as
assigned.Competencies: --- Strong organizational skills, to
maintain project goals.--- Ability to track Project deliverables to
ensure they are on track, according to the Project schedule. ---
Effective communication, coordination, and cooperation with Sales,
Engineering, Accounting, and customers, while maintaining common
focus and developing solutions to meet design and delivery
needs.--- Attention to detail.--- Time management. --- Ability to
prioritize multiple tasks.--- Strong knowledge and familiarity with
pneumatic conveying process requirements.--- Strong understanding
of pneumatic circuits.--- Ability to decipher and interpret Piping
& Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) from process flow diagrams or
other information. --- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook), CRM Systems, Workflow proficiency, SolidWorks and AutoCAD
software, Gantt charts --- Build and maintain relationships with
internal and external stakeholders. --- Ability to manage change
via Change Orders and log change occurrences.Education /
Experience: An associate's or bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or
Project Management is preferred. Equivalent combinations of
experience and education will be considered. 1-2 years experience
in a Project Management role preferred. PMP/PRINCE II certification
desired.Physical Demands: Requires frequent fingering, grasping,
feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Requires
occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing,
walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Work requires constant
visual ability. Work requires lifting components that weigh 20+
pounds. Must be able to work at computer or desk for extended
periods of time.Work Environment: Clean and climate-controlled
office environment in a manufacturing facility when not traveling
to customer sites. When traveling to customer sites, an industrial
work environment applies. Travel Requirements: Travel may be
required 5-10% of the time and for extended periods at times. Must
have a valid driver's license and a driving record that permits the
use of company automobiles.Safety: Work safely and respect PPE
requirements following Cyclonaire safety policies as well as
customer-specific policies, which may include dust masks,
respirators, chemical suits, etc. Safety shoes (steel toe lace-up
8" boots with defined heel ), safety glasses, hearing protection,
gloves, and other forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as
required in designated areas. Ability to pass background checks and
drug tests as required by Cyclonaire or Cyclonaire's
customers.Other Duties: Safe work performance is always required
from each employee. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a
safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety
Manuals. Required to wear or use PPE as applicable and to
immediately report unsafe working conditions. Understanding and
