Description As a Structural Engineering Intern on the Rail Bridge
team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that
will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your
future career. You'll be part of a team, working for our clients on
projects involving railroad bridges and supporting structures, with
our most experienced engineers. You may be involved in a variety of
tasks including basic project design through CAD drafting and
performing research. You may also travel to job sites for
observation as needed. Qualifications You are passionate about:
Working collaboratively with others. Having ownership in the work
you do. Using your talents to positively affect communities. You
bring to the team: Strong communication skills. Ability to
contribute and work well on a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
Word, and Outlook. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or
MicroStation. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Pursuing
a degree in structural engineering or civil engineering. Ability to
work 10 to 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours
