Our Thermo King business is connecting our transport HVAC and refrigeration products and providing digital solutions to help our customers efficiently protect drivers, passengers, and cargo. ---Using our connected solutions, our customers reduce fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and downtime while increasing the comfort and safety of passengers and shelf life of cargo, including essential cargo like food and pharmaceuticals.
Trane Technologies is hiring a Associate Quality Engineer in Hastings, NE. that will effectively administer the Quality Management System in accordance with current procedures and work instructions, and will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain to meet customer expectations.
Education Requirements:



  • Associates degree in conjunction with:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality role with Trane Technologies


  • Passing score on The ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or The Certified Supplier Quality Professional exam.


    OR

    • Bachelor's degree (any field)

      Responsibilities:


      • Support Quality Engineer and/or Supplier Quality Engineer


      • Provide Quality support when quality issues arise to maintain production


      • Manage the rejection process for manufactured product and supplied components


      • Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate root causes and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints and internal issues. Leverage common problem-solving tools (9 Step, 8D, A3)


      • Administer the deviation process


      • ISO Internal Auditor


      • Support NPD/Engineered projects


      • Determine and execute continuous improvement opportunities


        Qualifications:


        • 2+ years' experience in an assembly manufacturing environment, including blueprint reading and use of precision measuring tools.


        • Experience in investigation of root causes and driving implementation of corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints and internal issues.


        • Experience using common problem-solving tools, preferably 9 Step, 8D, A3.


        • Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments simultaneously.


        • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.


        • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office, including email, Windchill, and Oracle.
