to join our team as a Director Accounting - Oil & Gas/Data in
Omaha, NE. As a Director, Energy Accounting, you will be
responsible for managing the Energy Accounting team and ensuring
the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of all deliverables. This
role is responsible for managing daily workflows, providing
resources and guidance, and resolving escalated client concerns
with professionalism and expertise. The position collaborates
closely with Energy Management leadership to enhance operational
processes and client experience, while driving long-term planning,
goal setting, and staff development. Additionally, this role
represents the company at industry events, promotes our services
and value proposition, and supports senior leadership in achieving

perfect fit for you! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads and manages
energy accounting staff in their daily workflow; provides resources
to such staff; resolves escalated client concerns by responding
with promptness and competence.Maintains and drives accountability
over accuracy and efficiency of work performed by the energy
accounting team. Collaborates with the Energy Management leadership
teams to enhance efficiency and client experience.Charged with goal
setting, training, and long-term planning for the energy accounting
team.Presents and articulates company services and value, including
intangible benefits, to potential prospects for the Company’s
services with an emphasis on the value added by the energy
accounting team.Embraces the team-selling model to support long
range plan growth goals and expand the company’s presence.Keeps
abreast of current changes in technology, processes and standards
within the industry and applies knowledge and practices to the
energy accounting team.Hosts and/or attends industry or company
workshops, conferences, trade shows, networking functions and other
organized events; maintains a presence in professional or community
service organizations.Supports Vice Presidents and Senior Vice
President of Energy Management.Performs other related duties as
assigned and required by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises 2-8 employees within the department.Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing,
hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing
work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Business, or related field
preferredAssociate’s degree and 4 years' work experience in lieu of
Bachelor’s DegreeHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
certificate of competency and 8 years' work experience in lieu of
Bachelor’s DegreeMaster’s degree, a plusEight (8) years of oil and
gas industry experience, preferably with experience on the mineral
and royalties’ side of the business.Knowledge of Microsoft Office
products (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point).Knowledge of Oil and
Gas Revenue and Production Data Platforms (e.g. EnergyLink,
WellDatabase, Energy Domain, etc.) PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK
ENVIRONMENT: Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize
visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use
a keyboard.Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 40
pounds.Occasionally travel (10%) within specified region on
prospective client visits and to attend company/industry functions
