We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher who is
passionate about making a lasting difference in students lives.
Position Overview The Special Education Teacher will lead our
Education Services Program, ensuring high-quality educational
offerings and personalized support. This role is essential in
shaping meaningful educational experiences and promoting student
success. Key Responsibilities As a Special Education Teacher, you
will: Lead, plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs
within our Education Services Program. Collaborate with the
Educational Service Director to assess program needs, goals, and
improvements. Develop, manage, and monitor Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Ensure compliance with
County, State, and Federal regulations and standards. Train, guide,
and supervise staff to deliver exceptional educational services.
Encourage student engagement and participation in their own program
planning. Maintain overall program quality, including safety
standards, financial oversight, and facility upkeep. Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
(required). Certification: Valid Special Education teaching
certification (required). (Grade 6-12) Experience: Prior experience
working in educational or community-based programs serving
individuals with developmental disabilities. Skills & Knowledge:
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs. Knowledge of
behavior management practices, ISPs, and normalization principles.
