Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Full-Time Position Location: Lincoln, NE Blazerworks, in partnership with a local school in Lincoln, NE, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to education.
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student performance and provide updates.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and school-related events. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (required).
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (required).
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with disabilities.
