The Role We're looking for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who's ready to transition into an administrative role that keeps our maintenance operations running smoothly. This position bridges the gap between the shop floor and the office—you'll use your maintenance background to support the team through data management, training coordination, and operational administration. What You'll Do Coordinate onboarding and training for new maintenance hires Manage timecards and track attendance for the maintenance team Create and administer weekly quizzes covering maintenance topics, occupational safety, and food safety issues Handle documentation including disciplinary write-ups and personnel records Utilize Microsoft Power BI and Excel to track maintenance metrics and generate reports Maintain digital and physical records using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat What You Bring Minimum 1 year of maintenance mechanic experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs Experience with or willingness to learn Microsoft Power BI Comfortable with Adobe Acrobat for document management Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance staff and management Desire to transition from hands-on maintenance work into an administrative role Schedule Flexibility We understand life happens. While the standard schedule is 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, we're open to reasonable schedule adjustments to accommodate family commitments and personal needs. Reports To Maintenance Manager Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LA VISTA, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
